Sales Manager

Purpose of the Job

Responsible for driving revenue producing results by managing the sales processes and teams within the station

 

Job Responsibilities  

 

• Identify multinational and big potential customers
• Generate, maintain and develop newly on boarded customers
• Monitor and report current market trends, competition, share and developments to country manager and other stakeholders
• Ensure customers are using cost effective services channels and increase use of automation • Ensure representing Aramex in a professional manner at all times
• Identify decision makers and build solid relationships with them
• Build business proposals that are based on customer’s requirements
• Work with Product Consultants to ensure realization of product specific plans for the assigned segment
• Coordinate with customer service and operations in case of escalations
• Set monthly targets for new accounts and visits
• Communicate any operational requirements upon signing new deals to the concerned stakeholders
• Coordinate with operations to ensure service levels are met
• Ensure that the customer service team’s performance is up to the standards
• Ensure that everyone in the sales team maintains a functional and active pipeline
• Effectively plan and allocate needed resources to achieve targets
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data updated in the CRM system
• Create and update regularly a prospect plan to know where to focus to gain new clients
• Ensure having valid customer contracts and ensure they are renewed on time
• Adhere to company HSSE, compliance and sustainability corporate policies and standards
• Monitor and enhance the overall team performance
• Setting targets and conducting annual review for direct reports
• Ensure having a succession plan in place.

 

Job Requirements (Experience and education)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • At least 10 years sales experience, preferably in transport or express shipping
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills 
  • Strong Customer focus and analytical skills
