Purpose of the Job

The Sustainability Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the initiatives outlined in the company's sustainability strategy, coordinating with various departments for specific projects, updating sustainability policies, and acting as the point of contact for green products. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion for sustainability.

Job Description

•    Manage and oversee the implementation of initiatives outlined in the company's sustainability strategy.
•    Identify and leverage improvement opportunities based on feedback from rating agencies.
•    Monitor progress and ensure that sustainability goals are met.
•    Collaborate with necessary departments (e.g., HVAC, energy efficiency, fleet electrification) to ensure successful execution of sustainability projects.
•    Facilitate communication and coordination among departments to align efforts and achieve sustainability objectives.
•    Review and update sustainability policies as required to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
•    Ensure that all policies are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.
•    Act as the primary point of contact for green products, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
•    Promote the adoption and integration of green products within the company's operations.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

•    Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    Proven experience in managing sustainability projects and initiatives.
•    Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and rating agencies.
•    Understanding of policy and regulatory landscapes affecting sustainability projects.
•    Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•    Strong communication and negotiation skills.
