Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this role is to lead a cluster of Regional Franchisees across a geographical area of New Zealand bringing leadership, direction and governance across these teams and our wider network. This role will support the COO – NZ to lead business initiatives and identify strategies to optimize our business and drive high performance.
Job Description
- To support the Chief Operations Officer – New Zealand to achieve the Aramex New Zealand strategic plan and key financial objectives.
- To lead the Company Owned Regional Franchises across a geographical area, ensuring the managers of each are supported and held accountable to the business improvement plans and financial objectives set by Aramex New Zealand.
- To support the Independently Owned Regional Franchises across a geographical area, ensuring they have the tools and support to run their businesses, and achieve the required network standards.
- To provide onboarding programs and support for any new Regional Franchises across a geographical area.
- To drive strong network performance and operational efficiencies through compliance, operational excellence, data and systems.
- To drive high quality standards and compliance in a cluster of Regional Franchises to ensure a strong franchise brand.
- To support Courier Franchise recruitment, engagement, training, and communications in our network.
- To ensure the franchise network is supported in accordance with the deeded responsibilities and obligations under the relevant legislation.
- To promote and comply with the Aramex Oceania Health & Safety program, including leading the implementation and ongoing execution of modules and initiatives within a cluster of Regional Franchises and across the network, and driving a safety focused culture.
- To drive a high-performance culture with a strong focus on employee engagement, succession, and retention.
- To mentor, coach and develop Company Owned Regional Franchise management and key talent.
- To consistently demonstrate the leadership behaviours and be a role model within the business.
