Purpose of the Job

• Oversee the technical strategy, planning, and execution for the SAP environment.
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable and robust.
• Lead the design strategy of SAP Clean Core, BTP along with SAP Customer Experience.
• Oversee all quality Gates / Control / Code review / System Performance across SAP landscape
• Lead AI and Data Analytics Strategy along with Conversational AI for SAP landscape
• Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of SAP systems through regular monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SAP systems.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP developments, trends, and best practices, and ensure the organization leverages these advancements.
• Provide expert technical support for SAP-related issues, working with internal and external resources as needed.

Job Description

Customer:

• Be proactive in capturing and analyzing business requirements and drive towards optimal design and successful delivery of solutions
• Provider regular and timely reports on progress of initiatives and key risks and issue.

Operations:

• Ensure SAP systems are performing optimally with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with SAP domain Architect and Cyber Security team to Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect SAP systems.
• Successfully design, implement, and maintain SAP solutions that meet business requirements.
• Build and manage a high-performing SAP technical team.
• Work effectively with business units to understand their needs and provide appropriate SAP solutions.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the SAP environment.
• Ensure all SAP systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Financial Result:

• Preparation and overseeing of SAP technical budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
• Provide necessary input for the assessment and planning of initiatives cost including licenses, vendor time and material and others

Advise on optimal use of SAP licenses and regular housekeeping to ensure adequate leverage on investment and prevent cost leakage

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 13 - 15 years of experience in SAP technical management.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and technical configurations.
• Strong understanding of RISE WITH SAP S/4 HANA Transformation  along with ABAP Cloud Model as well as Functional Modules like SD , MM , PP , QM etc . 
• Strong Understanding of SAP Signavio & LeanIX
• Proven track record of leading and managing SAP technical teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• SAP certification in relevant modules or technical areas.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Experience in a global or multinational organization.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the SAP landscape.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
