Purpose of the Job

The Lead UiPath Developer is a hands-on automation professional within the Digital & Technology organization, responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using the UiPath platform.

The role combines strong technical expertise, process analysis skills, and ownership of automation initiatives from requirements gathering through production deployment and support. The Senior UiPath Developer is expected to collaborate closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable and reliable automation solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.

Job Description

RPA Solution Delivery

• Design, develop, test, and deploy UiPath automation solutions across business functions.
• Analyse existing business processes and recommend automation opportunities and improvements.
• Create reusable automation frameworks, components, and libraries to accelerate development.
• Develop attended, unattended, and hybrid automation solutions based on business requirements.
• Implement robust exception handling, logging, auditing, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure automation solutions meet business, compliance, and security requirements.

Development & Engineering

• Build automation workflows using UiPath Studio and modern development practices.
• Develop integrations with enterprise applications, web services, databases, APIs, and legacy systems.
• Work with OCR, Document Understanding, and intelligent document processing solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
• Optimize bot performance and troubleshoot production issues effectively.

Platform management & Support

• Utilize UiPath Orchestrator for deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and management of automation processes.
• Support production bots and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.
• Monitor bot health, performance, and utilization metrics.
• Maintain automation documentation, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
• Participate in automation platform upgrades, migrations, and environment management activities.

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand automation requirements.
• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production releases.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to capability building within the automation team.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with UiPath product enhancements and emerging automation technologies.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Machine Learning, Process Mining, and Task Mining capabilities.
• Contribute to automation standards, governance, and best practices.
• Drive innovation initiatives to improve automation effectiveness and scalability.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-5+ years of hands-on experience in UiPath development and enterprise RPA implementation.
• Strong expertise in UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and UiPath REFramework.
• Experience developing unattended, attended, and enterprise-scale automation solutions.
• Good understanding of workflow design, exception handling, logging, and debugging techniques.
• Experience integrating applications through APIs, web services, databases, and file-based interfaces.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with Document Understanding, OCR technologies, and Intelligent Automation solutions.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with source control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in C#, VB.NET,Python or related programming concepts used within UiPath development.

Good to Have

• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification.
• Experience with AI Center, Process Mining, Task Mining, and Communications Mining.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to Power Platform, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Understanding of AI/ML-enabled automation solutions.
