Purpose of the Job

The D&T Lead Analyst – Modern Workplace is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Modern Workplace solutions to enhance collaboration, productivity, and security across the organization.

This role bridges advanced technical expertise with solution ownership, ensuring that Microsoft 365 and related platforms are effectively deployed, governed, and continuously improved.

The role acts as a technical lead within the team, driving initiatives, guiding junior team members, and ensuring operational excellence while supporting the organization’s digital transformation strategy.

Job Description

• Own and drive the implementation, optimization, and support of Modern Workplace solutions, particularly Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online)
• Lead technical delivery of projects and enhancements within the Modern Workplace domain
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for complex technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Applications) to ensure seamless integration
• Monitor system performance, ensure service availability, and proactively identify improvements
• Guide and mentor junior team members, providing technical direction and knowledge sharing

Identity and Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID):

• Design and manage Entra ID environments including Hybrid Identity and SSO integrations
• Implement and manage security controls such as MFA, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and PIM
• Oversee user lifecycle management, RBAC, and enterprise application access

Endpoint & Device Management:

• Lead implementation and governance of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, Autopilot, MDM)
• Define and enforce device compliance and security policies

Security, Compliance & Governance:

• Ensure alignment with security standards and regulatory requirements
• Perform configuration reviews and audits across M365 and Entra ID
• Implement best practices for governance and data protection
• Stay updated with industry trends and Microsoft roadmap, recommending and implementing improvements

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience in IT with strong focus on Modern Workplace / Microsoft 365
• Strong expertise in:
  • Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive)
  • Microsoft Entra ID (IAM, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO)
  • Endpoint Management (Intune, Autopilot, MDM)
• Proven experience in solution implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity
