Purpose of the Job

As the Operations Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing operational data, identifying performance trends and providing insights to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your role will be crucial in supporting data-driven decision-making and improving key performance indicators across ouroperations.

Job Description

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth root cause analysis to identify underlying factors impacting operational performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance operational workflows.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma, to drive operational excellence and productivity.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to management, highlighting trends, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Forecasting and Capacity Planning: Utilize historical data and statistical modeling techniques to forecast demand, optimize resource allocation, and support capacity planning.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage data analytics tools and technologies to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, IT, and customer service, to align objectives and drive operational improvements.
  • Industry Research: Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements in the logistics and transportation industry, applying relevant insights to improve operational performance.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • At least 3 years of experience in operations analysis, business analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive operational improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, data analytics, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degrees or certifications in analytics or operations management are a plus
