Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a high-performing logistics professional with 6–10 years of experience in warehousing and supply chain operations, ideally with an industrial engineering background. This role will act as a senior operational leader within the Contract Logistics team, driving performance, standardization, and growth across multiple stations. The candidate will play a pivotal role in elevating our logistics product, optimizing processes, enhancing system capabilities, and enabling scalable, high-quality operations across the network.

Job Description

  • Serve as the global subject-matter expert for Aramex’s Warehouse Management System (WMS), leading functionality deployment, optimization, and best-practice adoption across all stations.
  • Own end-to-end WMS rollout and lifecycle management, including solution design, configuration, validation, user training, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize and drive WMS and digital enhancement requests in partnership with IT, ensuring all developments enable operational excellence, reduce manual work, and enhance customer experience.
  • Lead performance governance, monitoring core KPIs across stations, identifying variances, and ensuring corrective action plans are implemented.
  • Act as a technical and commercial advisor to strategic customers, supporting solution design, operational modeling, and key commercial proposals.
  • Participate in customer discovery meetings to understand operational requirements, workflows, and performance expectations for new opportunities.
  • Price and model large-scale logistics projects across multiple verticals, ensuring accurate cost structures and healthy financial returns.
  • Analyze station-level financials to identify performance gaps and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Lead onboarding of new strategic customers, from commercial approval to solution design, integration setup, UAT, and readiness for go-live.
  • Evaluate inbound and outbound process data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities to improve throughput and service levels.
  • Assess and validate operational readiness for new customers, ensuring alignment with Aramex’s global standards and SOPs.
  • Sign off on system enhancements and new digital capabilities, and develop global SOPs to support adoption across all markets.
  • Deliver structured sales enablement training across regions to enhance product knowledge and improve the quality of commercial pitches.
  • Stay ahead of market trends by evaluating and piloting emerging technologies (e.g., glove scanners, omnichannel tools, automation enablers).
  • Provide executive-level support during key internal and external meetings, ensuring strong representation of operations, product, and technical perspectives.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (or a closely related field); Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience in warehousing, logistics operations, or supply chain execution, preferably within high-volume, multi-site environments.
  • Proven expertise in WMS-driven operations, process engineering, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to model operational scenarios, evaluate KPIs, and support commercial cases.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong command of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and practical experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications are advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, process-oriented mindset.
  • Outstanding organizational and stakeholder management skills, capable of coordinating cross-functional teams across regions.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple projects, and deliver within tight timelines.
