Retail Development Executive

Position: Retail Development Executive

Purpose of the Job:

To grow channel sales through cash counters in partnership with retail outlets, thereby developing relationships and interest in Aramex solutions for walk-in customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify retail outlets, in designated Metropolitan cities, who will be interested in partnering with Aramex to setup a cash counter for booking shipments.


  • Make cold calls/visit identified retail outlets and work with them to develop an effective relationship.


  • Generate and Nurture leads in co-ordination with vertical marketing and field marketing to grow channel sales.


  • Present solutions to customers, demonstrating value for business and goal alignment.


  • Train the person managing the Cash Counter in retail outlets to facilitate smooth customer experience, in line with the Aramex brand.


  • Work closely with the Retail shop team and solutions group to define innovative solutions that provide value to customer’s business operations.


  • Perform all aspects of the sales process and input & update all customer information utilizing CRM.


  • Engages in research for the purpose of expanding personal and company knowledge of industry trends, best practices, marketing and sales

Job Requirements (Experience and Education)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field
  • Prior experience in express industry in Sales, Operations or Customer Service will be beneficial
  • Candidates with no express experience but having experience in identifying and appointments of retail outlets or franchises will be preferred
  • Fluent in English. Additional knowledge of Local language is a plus

  • Strong Negotiation Skills, incorporating various strategies and desired outcomes
