Business Development Manager - Healthcare Vertical, India



• Identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline of potential customers in the pharmaceutical and lifesciences industry vertical.

• Meet and exceed established targets via prospecting, networking and referral activities within the local market.

• Gain and maintain access to decision-makers via a disciplined and structured prospecting regimen.

• With a thorough understanding of the customer’s business needs, collaborate with the internal Global Healthcare team to identify and propose logistics solutions that translate into closed, contracted business deals.

• Act as a business consultant and demonstrate extensive knowledge and insight in the healthcare and lifesciences vertical, while linking offerings to the agendas of decision makers.

• Deliver high caliber, persuasive presentations showcasing value-based products offering

• Ability to work independently

• Maintain updated customer data on the CRM application

• Assist in developing/enhancing customer presentation materials.

• Proactively monitor the market environment and industry changes.

• Ensure customer onboarding and service delivery

• Handle and resolve escalations – Prepare CAPA reports

• Ensure SLA’s are in place and implemented for all customers

• Increase Aramex market share in the pharmaceutical and lifescienes industry vertical

• Develop comprehensive understanding of the customer’s business model and unique challenges

• Ensure customer satisfaction and business retention



• Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects at a time.

• Expertise in managing Pharmaceutical and lifesciences supply chain commercial including dangerous goods. Minimum 3 years experience in this vertical.

• Trained for Good Distribution Practices

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory

• Post Graduate degree is a plus

• Fluent in English verbal/written communication

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain industry background is a must

• Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic business acumen

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including excellent listening and writing skills
