About the Role
Aramex Australia is seeking an experienced Junior HR Business Partner to join our team based in Sydney.
Reporting to the Regional HR Director, this role supports the delivery of the People Strategy across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll work closely with leaders and managers across the network to provide well rounded HR support across the employee lifecycle, while also playing a key role in employment relations and workplace case management.
This is a hands-on HRBP role in a dynamic operational environment, where you’ll be trusted to balance day to day HR advisory support with involvement in more complex people matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle including performance, engagement, talent, and policy guidance
- Act as a key support for employment relations matters, including performance issues, grievances, misconduct, and workplace concerns
- Support and participate in workplace investigations and case management processes, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes
- Partner with managers to build capability and confidence in handling people matters effectively
- Support delivery of key People Strategy initiatives across talent, reward, and organisational effectiveness
- Assist with HR Shared Services oversight to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee lifecycle changes
- Contribute to workforce planning, engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement of HR processes
- Support reward activities including salary reviews, promotions, and recognition programs
- Build strong relationships across managers, employees, franchisees, and HR stakeholders
To be successful in this role:
- 5+ years’ experience in HR (HR Administration, Generalist, and/or Employment Relations)
- Strong experience in employment relations and exposure to workplace investigations (essential)
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices in Australia/New Zealand
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical capability
- High attention to detail and sound judgement
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
