Job Purpose

The Business Analyst must be able to develop and implement processes that will positively impact both Aramex and its clients. This will entail working with various other business units in order to attain the desired outcomes.

 

The role of a Business Analyst within Aramex is to plan, develop and execute a broad range of company and client requirements with the assistance of the solutions team. A Business Analyst needs to identify and understand business challenges and areas of potential improvement before coordinating the necessary approach to effectively execute the desired solution and outcome. This closely relies on the ability to enable and facilitate the solutions department to work towards understandable and clear goals.

 

Understanding of the various business processes and knowledge of the key elements that contribute to these processes is vital.

 

Part of this role requires the ability to question and ‘disrupt’ the organization. This may require moving around the different aspects of the company i.e. branches; departments, applying your knowledge gained in the solutions team to innovate; improve and sustain Aramex and its clients.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and drive new projects within the business
  • Client Services: Interaction with clients to provide full supply chain solutions by focusing on value added services
  • Identify areas of improvement within the business and by involving the necessary personnel with the relevant skills, proposing the required solutions.
  • To provide instruction and guidance to other personnel within the Solutions team and company, and ultimately facilitating the achievement of goals.
  • Conduct and lead feasibility studies on various internal and external ventures
  • Presentation of key findings to clients and the business.

  • Ensure the solutions team remains informed of the technologies and capabilities available in the market
  • Keep EXCO informed of trends within the industry and business
  • Offer guidance and support to the Business Analysts

 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Tertiary Education – B. Comm. Logistics (HONS) or equivalent Logistics post-graduate degree
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport
