IT Executive - Jeddah (Saudi Nationals Preferred)

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - Grade E6


Purpose of the Job

Perform all IT related IT tasks (software/hardware/ networking) within the station)

Job Responsibilities 

  • Continuously support and address all station employee’s IT issues
  • Resolve all employee Help desk within the time frame
  • Assist Aramex clients upon setting up e-tools (CTS, EPOD, Integrations, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve its objectives
  • Self-development and skill improvement
  • Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically
  • Achieve set annual KPI’s and develop oneself on skill gaps
  • Implement department strategy to achieve IT station’s goal
  • Perform tasks related to new IT system implementations on site
  • Send new hardware/software request to the procurement department
  • Create and manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • set up workstations for new employees (software/hardware)
  • support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues on workstations/scanners and ensure the latest software updates deployment.
  • Ensure implementation of latest software security patches and updates
  • Monitor local server’s health, link status for all station branches
  • Manage local SQL server where applicable.
  • Maintain annual inventory of all IT related assets (hardware and software)
  • Supervise and follow up on tasks given to external IT companies
  • Handle all systems issues related to security, card access team, networking team, maintenance team, Queue system, Printers/Scanners
  • Follow up with internet and telecom providers
  • Adhere to company HSSE, compliance, and sustainable corporate policies
  • Assist in managing IT resources and tools and where applicable recommend cost-saving.
  • Suggest IT requirements to be included in the IT budget.

Job Requirements (Experience and education)

  • Bachelors in IT/Computer Science
  • Excellent command Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command in English; writing, speaking, and reading.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with teams
  • Good Troubleshooting skills
