HR & Training Leader

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Role and Responsibilities

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">To support the Country Manager and Regional HR Business Partner in implementing the company HR & Training strategy and initiatives.

  • Provide managers with the necessary tools and knowledge to manage their people in line with our performance management guidelines; providing constructive feedback, career growth guidance  
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Contribute to the development of the wider HR strategy and work closely with the station manager and Regional HR Team to ensure consistent and coordinated services across the station
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Partner with the station manager and functional heads to identify and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes, resulting in a proper manpower plan
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Lead the implementation of the manpower plan and ensure vacancies are managed and filled in line with the approved budget and executed as per the correct recruitment process
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Define and lead projects based on business needs related to reward and recognition plans, employee engagement plan and compensation and benefits
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Run employee engagement surveys and generate an action plan to close the gaps identified from the survey
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Lead the performance management and talent development processes including setting individual KPIs, performance appraisals, succession planning, IDPs, Future Leaders Pipeline
  • Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and continue to reflect both up-to-date employment law and best practice.
  • Work closely with the Regional HRBP and CEOs to analyze market benchmark and make recommendations on best market practices
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Manage day-to-day activities and employee relations at the station level – grievance, company policy and labor law adherence, union etc.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Qualifications, Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">People management experience.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Time management and organizational skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Able to prioritize and properly manage workload
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Proficient in MS Office
