Job Description
Job Title:  Revenue Management Specialist - Pricing & Commercial Governance
Posting Start Date:  9/25/26
Job Description:

Purpose of the Job

Support the build-out of the Revenue Management function across GCC and India by translating pricing strategy into practical commercial governance, repeatable pricing processes and disciplined execution. The role will partner with country and functional stakeholders to improve price realization, reduce leakage and strengthen decision quality, initially using pragmatic Microsoft Office-based processes and tools.

Job Description

Pricing governance & operating model
•    Support the design and rollout of pricing decision rights, approval authorities, escalation thresholds and exception-management rules across customer segments, products and deal types.
•    Map current-country pricing practices and help define a pragmatic regional operating model, including clear interfaces with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, Legal, Billing and relevant central functions.
•    Maintain transparent logs of pricing exceptions and recurring deviations, and convert recurring issues into improved rules, playbooks or escalation mechanisms.
Annual price management / GRI
•    Design and operate a structured annual price review process, including addressable-revenue identification, customer-level target setting, exemptions, approval logic and implementation tracking.
•    Prepare customer- and segment-specific negotiation guidance, value arguments, concession options and escalation packs for Sales and country leadership.
•    Track target, negotiated, implemented and realized price increases, with clear reason codes for deviations and exceptions.
Commercial pricing & tender support
•    Support strategic bids, tenders and complex pricing cases using structured deal assessment, profitability logic, target/floor thinking and documented negotiation plans.
•    Help define practical price corridors and commercial guardrails by customer type, deal size, service scope and profitability risk.
•    Capture win/loss learning and recurring negotiation themes to improve future pricing decisions.
Surcharges, contracts & leakage prevention
•    Review surcharge application, waivers and commercial exceptions; identify recurring leakage patterns and coordinate corrective actions with relevant functions.
•    Support standard, fallback and red-line commercial terms, including price-review, indexation and surcharge-protection clauses, in partnership with Legal and Commercial teams.
•    Ensure pricing commitments are operationally and systemically executable before they become contractual obligations.
Country implementation & capability building
•    Support pilots in priority markets and scale proven practices across GCC and India while preserving justified local flexibility.
•    Develop simple playbooks, templates and training materials that make Revenue Management concepts usable by Sales and country teams.
•    Build constructive working relationships with commercial leaders and act as a business partner rather than a transactional approval function.
