To maximize profitable revenue in the express and freight business by owning pricing architecture, commercial governance, customer profitability, and revenue-quality analytics across products, segments, and trade lanes, while giving leadership timely insight to improve yield, margin, and price realization.
Job Description
- Establish a revenue management framework, including pricing governance, approval matrices, and control processes.
- Implement hybrid pricing oversight, balancing country empowerment with regional alignment
- Create and maintain customer profitability models, segmentation logic, and commercial performance dashboards.
- Support decision-making through robust pricing analytics, competitor assessments, and opportunity mapping.
- Educate internal stakeholders on the role and value of revenue management, particularly in countries unfamiliar with this function.
- Build and maintain customer, lane, and product profitability models that identify dilution, leakage, underpriced accounts, and margin-improvement opportunities.
- Translate market and competitor information into pricing recommendations by segment, geography, product family, and customer size.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Network, and Product teams on strategic bids, contract renewals, and complex pricing decisions to ensure proposals are commercially attractive and operationally executable.
Job Requirements - Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- + 7 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, commercial finance, profitability analysis, or commercial strategy, preferably in express, courier, freight forwarding, e-commerce logistics, airline cargo, or transportation.
- Deep understanding of express and forwarding solutions, trade lanes, and logistics market dynamics.
- Strong analytical capabilities in pricing, revenue forecasting, and customer profitability modelling.
- Ability to design pricing governance, commercial tools, and performance frameworks.
- Advanced Excel; SQL; BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau; pricing models; ROI modeling; scenario planning; dashboard design.
