Performance Management Manager

The Performance Manager will play a key role on the Global HR Team. The role is accountable the planning, development and effective delivery of an integrated approach to performance management for Aramex globally.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

  • In collaboration with the Global Director of Compensation, Benefits and Mobility, develops and agrees the strategic vision, framework, and scope of the performance management process.
  • Manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management supports the achievement of business objectives.
  • Works closely with functional leaders to develop KPI libraries by function using the SMART Objectives Methodology.
  • Complete workshop and individualized sessions with top 50 members of the Aramex extended management team; submit report to NRC on annual basis for KPIs and actual achievement.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Strategy / PMO Team to establish dashboards and track and monitor performance of key measures in the scorecard so that the leader can take pro-active action
  • Provide random audit of KPIs across the network and work with functional leaders and employees to improve KPIs.
  • Shapes the future strategy of performance management by identifying leading edge external trends and innovations and makes recommendations to improve/refresh the performance management framework and process.
  • Acts as an expert advisor and thought leader providing guidance and support to global, regional and local teams.
  • In collaboration with the Global Director of People Analytics, leads the design of the information technology requirements required to support an effective performance management system.
  • In collaboration with the Global Director of Talent and Development, leads the design and calculation of the performance calculation considering the evaluation of the core and leadership competencies and performance (KPIs)
  • Ensures that the technology available for performance management is aligned with the philosophy and process, also providing an excellent employee experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or Psychology
  • A Master’s degree in Human Resources or professional certifications in HR are preferred (i.e. PHR, SPHR, GPHR)

Experience:

  • Experience in HR management, including performance management
  • Previous experience in consulting is high preferred
  • The ability to work closely with functional peers on the Functional Team
  • Previous experience with multi-national companies preferred

Knowledge:

  • Thorough understanding of HR, performance management, business strategy and financial acumen

Skills:

  • Highly developed negotiation, consensus building and communication skills
  • Strong strategic and business acumen
  • Ability to analyze problems and strategize for the business
