The Marketing Manager will…

  • Lead on the development of the Marketing & Digital Media Strategy for Aramex SMART, both for B2B and B2C, in all markets covering Aramex’s e-commerce customer base, online shoppers and the local e-commerce ecosystem
  • Build a quarterly inbound & outbound marketing plan together with the Head of digital marketing and Smart business stakeholders  
  • Define and execute on a roadmap of strategic Partnerships to help achieve the business goals and engage with local ecosystem to create joint partnering opportunities to expand and promote usage of Aramex SMART.
  • Work with Smart sales team and Aramex stakeholders to create internal awareness of Smart solutions within Aramex regional teams and Aramex employees
  • Work with business owner, product managers, sales team, Head of digital marketing & CMO to define key objectives, targets & KPIs to reach
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology, trends and best practices
  • Manage and oversee different digital marketing channels for SMART (MarComms / CRM, Paid Performance, Social and Analytics)
  • Reporting: Present and share ideas, results and gaps analyses across teams.
  • Oversee all social activity for SMART on all channels.
  • Track SEO and Google Analytics data and make complex analysis 
  • Design, prioritize and execute specific activities.
  • Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Analytical Master: Monitor, adjust and report using data, presenting back to leadership through visualization and insights.
  • Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.
  • Manage on a very tight budget.

 

Actions:

  • Drive online retailer lead generation and consumer sign ups, engagement & repurchase via Smart and partner retailer websites
  • Initiate partnerships
  • Internal awareness creation across Aramex regions and sales teams
  • Oversee on-going delivery of paid media and CRM campaigns
  • Regularly re-visit our on-going communication strategy
  • Give strategic input during prep phase of campaigns
  • Drive forward A/B & multivariate testing on web, MarComms & paid media
  • Support wider team with data and insights
  • Recommendations to product team for enhancements and feature design to drive growth

 

You’ll enjoy and succeed in this role if you have….

  • In depth knowledge of different digital marketing channels
  • Great understanding of the regional E-commerce / online payments space
  • Driven etailer & consumer acquisition across markets like UAE, KSA and other GCC countries
  • B2B & B2C experience with exposure to the e-commerce and online shopping space crucial
  • Been responsible for marketing of an online product / service in a mid to large sized organization
  • Experience acquiring, influencing and managing partnerships to drive growth
  • World class presenter
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Social, CRM, partnerships
  • Very analytical
  • Great business acumen

Experience required

  • 8+ years of experience as a B2B & B2C Marketing Manager with a strong focus on digital
  • MA in Marketing, Digital technologies or similar relevant field preferred
  • Fluent in English & Arabic, reading & writing

Bonus:

Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, Pardot experience, Tableau experience
