Purpose of the Job
The Logistics Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmaceutical warehouse, ensuring the efficient and compliant management of inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics processes. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety, while driving continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions.
Job Description
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and other external partners.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics activities and improve processes.
- Implement best practices for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance skills and operational knowledge.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address client needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce costs.
- Prepare and manage logistics budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in logistics technology.

- Oversee the management of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 5-8 in logistics management, with a track record of success in optimizing operations and achieving cost savings.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCMP, APICS) is a plus.
