Global Manager Business Performance & Quality - Ecommerce & Last mile

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performance Dialogue:
    • Lead the performance dialogue internally (mainly with Express & Ecommerce operations) in regards to the overall Aramex service performance. The performance dialogue will evolve around Aramex performance in regards to Express & Ecommerce products.
    • Lead the performance dialogue externally, with customers, based on agreed Service Level Agreements, for above mentioned products.
    • Ability to present and portray performance via analytical, data driven and scientific insights. (dashboards, presentations, analysis)
  • People management, soft skills:
    • BPQ will be the stepping stones for future talents in the organization. Hence the candidate should be passionate about helping people exceeding their objectives, teach new skills and act as a mentor & coach.
    • Be very comfortable in a cross functional environment
    •  Be able to bring senior stakeholders to the table, question them and ensure they adopt best practices. Excellent people management, change management and stakeholder management skills

 

  • Process improvement:
    • Drive operational excellence and efficiencies projects. Ability to deep dive into processes, identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste and pragmatically implement new ones having a cross functional approach. Expertise in process reengineering, process automation and change management. Lean six sigma is a plus.
    • Expertise in developing value stream maps, process maps, identify gaps and come up with solutions. Ability to develop efficient standard operating procedures across the organization. Demonstrate an understanding for process analysis and assessments as well as development of process flows and future state roadmaps.
    • Demonstrate strong knowledge of process improvement, business transformation and project management methodologies (such as Lean, Agile, Change Management etc.) Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries.
  • Reporting:
    • Lead the performance reporting vertical for the Express & Ecommerce CSO. Point of contact for KPIs implementation and monitoring
    • Review financial monthly shipment performance report, and provide insight to the organization’s performance. Demonstrate a strong understanding of core business and finance processes such as Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis as well as specific accounting areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,  Profit & Loss and Revenue.
    • Lead incident reporting, utilize SCAT standards for major shipping incidents.

 

  • Quick Adaptability to new Technologies. Play a major part is new business system deployment

 

Key Requirements:

  • Someone who could perform tasks in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible
  • Engineering / industrial engineering degree is a must.
  • The role will also require dealing with stations on regional level as well as directly with customers hence communication skills are key.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Advanced knowledge in accounting / finance processes and objectives
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of process improvement, business transformation and project management methodologies (such as Lean, Agile, Change Management etc.) Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of core business and finance processes such as Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis.
  • Proven track record of achieving excellence across regional Control Towers
  • Very analytical, data driven with strong engineering skills
  • Strong Express & Ecommerce Knowledge
  • 7 Years+ Work Experience in Supply Chain / ecommerce
  • Process Improvement / Compliance Knowledge
  • Strong Problem Solving acumen & Product knowledge of Express & Ecommerce
  • Adept knowledge of MS Office suite and presentation skills
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent English Verbal & Written skills
