Purpose of the Job

To support the country manager and Regional HR Director in implementing the company HR & Training strategy and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities  

  • Address station’s local business needs by implementing HR/Training plans that is in line with the company and regional HR/Training strategy.
  • Assist in supporting the Country manager in coordination with the regional HR Director in all people management related issues and Talent retention.
  • Train and mentor line managers to ensure they conduct efficient performance review meetings and proper training needs analysis.
  • Coordinate with the line managers to set proper manpower plans/budget in coordination with the Regional HR Director.
  • Share the employees’ satisfaction survey results with the country manager and line mangers to set proper actions.
  • Share the external customer satisfaction survey results and actions with the country manager and line managers and follow through implementations.
  • Ensure all teams have succession plans in place.
  • Manage, develop and empower the station HR team and ensure proper execution of the work process as required.
  • Ensure hiring qualified employees for all jobs whenever needed.
  • Facilitating the flow of information horizontally and vertically.
  • Assist in implementing the company HR strategy in the station; oversee the workflow in the HR department and address the stations’ needs related to people management effectively as per the HR/Training policies & procedures.
  • Addressing all stations staff needs promptly and with high service quality to ensure satisfaction
  • Participate with the Regional HR Director to analyse market benchmark and make recommendations on Compensation and Benefits.
  • Implement “reward strategies” that caters for all stations’ job families specific work environment and needs in coordination with the regional HR partner.
  • Develop and maintain the HR function’s response and recovery plan during a disruptive incident, using the tools and templates provided by the local business continuity coordinator working within the PEX team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely release of the monthly payroll.
  • Ensure proper application of corporate HR policies and procedures and tailor policies in line with Local labour laws and report that to the Regional HR Director.
  • Lead the implementation of any HR system or new corporate HR initiatives
  • Ensure internal communications is aligned with company overall strategy
  • Pass all station HR/training company audits.
  • Ensure abiding by the country labour laws and cultural rules
  • Ensure a manpower pipeline is created and recruitment process is in place to cater for the business needs on time.
  • Contribute to the proper implementation of the station CSR initiatives as required.
  • Implement any company HR system initiative and provide feedback to tailor it as per the local labour law and station’s needs.
  • Determine access requirements to information within the HR function to guarantee privacy and confidentiality based on sensitivity, classification, legal requirements and company policies, and pass to IT for implementation
  • Manage staff cost as aligned with the budget and forecast.
  • Participate in setting the annual Manpower and Training budget. Minimize recruitment cost.
  • Hiring and/or promoting staff is aligned with the budget and forecast and ensure taking corrective action when needed
  • Decrease Turnover rate and increase retention rate.
  • Ensure HR system data is 100% accurate at all times

Job Requirements (Experience and Education)

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM and or Min. Level 5HR Certification –
  • 10 years HR experience with min. 5 years in a senior role
  • Good knowledge of local labor laws
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors
  • Preference will be given to local candidates willing to join on a short notice
