Purpose of the Job

The D&T Senior Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems across the station and its remote branches. This includes providing direct support through regular branch and customer visits, particularly for troubleshooting and deploying Aramex applications and APIs. The role is also responsible for managing on-site IT infrastructure, resolving technical issues efficiently, and supporting API integration with key customers to enable automated and secure data exchange.
The position ensures local execution of Aramex’s digital strategy by maintaining high service standards and supporting the ongoing transformation of customer and operational processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the execution of the station’s IT strategy in line with Aramex’s broader digital transformation goals.
  • Perform tasks related to new system implementations and deployments on-site.
  • Raise requests for new hardware and software to the procurement team as needed.
  • Set up and configure workstations (hardware and software) for new employees.
  • Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and access permissions.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot local printers and scanners.
  • Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Ensure deployment of up-to-date software versions and system updates.
  • Administer local servers and databases, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Manage data backup schedules and secure storage of physical backup media, including offsite storage.
  • Monitor the health and performance of local servers, including network link status for all branches and call center systems.
  • Ensure timely implementation of security patches and software updates.
  • Handle daily Service Desk requests, ensuring timely issue resolution.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and server administration.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server management and data backup strategies.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management, IT asset tracking, and IT service management tools.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to handle technical challenges independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel for remote site support when needed and Customer visit.
