About the Role
Aramex Australia has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance – Australia, the Financial Controller plays a critical role in supporting strong financial governance, accurate and timely reporting, and effective internal controls across all Aramex Australia entities. This role provides comprehensive financial, audit, statutory, and reporting support, while partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver high-quality financial insights to both local management and Global Head Office.
As the Financial Controller, the role is focused on ensuring financial integrity, compliance with statutory and group requirements, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and driving continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Preparing and delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with group policies and timelines

Maintaining the integrity of financial records, including general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions

Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including financial modelling, consolidation, and variance analysis

Coordinating and supporting internal and external audit processes and statutory compliance requirements

Providing financial insights, KPI reporting, and performance commentary to support informed decision-making

Partnering with operational and functional teams to embed financial controls and support performance improvement

Delivering ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and executive-level reporting as required
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:

A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification

A minimum of 7 years’ finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Financial Controller or senior accounting role

Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting standards, statutory reporting, and audit requirements

Experience in multi-entity reporting environments, ideally within logistics, transport, or franchising sectors

Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, business-partnering approach
