Purpose of the Job

Work closely with local operations and development teams to generate seafreight quotations to support regular and/or spot pricing enquiries for global accounts , RFQS and tenders to the network

Job Description

•    Aggressively participate in freight rates negotiations by working closely with carriers and liners, transporters, agents and counterparts to acquire the best rates in the market.
•    Develop and build solid relationships with carriers, agents and counterparts, at all levels, seeking best fit to secure the necessary rates and space agreements 
•    Help determine new services that we can develop by understanding the needs of the customers and keeping an eye on market including competitors’ activity, port developments and trade lanes growth 
•    Follow up with airlines for spot rates ex: reduction in rates on specific trade lane due to capacity issues.
•    Support the network in all RFQs and Tenders  
•    Manage Pricing team to handle all RFQ and ad-hoc enquiries received.
•    Communicate with international stakeholders on all pricing related matters.
