Credit Manager

  • Support credit officers at stations achieve ACP, collection and provision targets 
  • Responsible for all accounts receivables related reporting to internal & external auditors
  • Assist/support financial managers in decision making and in applying Aramex credit policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with regional financial controllers to ensure all credit policies and procedures are in place
  • Monitor and control the aging of receivables & payables 
  • Control blocked & “in-progress to be blocked” accounts through monitoring the Auto-Block system and following up with stations
  • Ensure customer receipts are updated on daily basis
  • Audit invoice issuance and make sure all are issued on system
  • Weekly check on all credit terms and limits and ensure they are assigned properly
  • Check and clear unapplied payments in coordination with stations 
  • Prepare and analyse weekly aging reports to identify top accounts affecting the station
  • Check, evaluate and confirm the monthly bad debt calculation for stations
  • Follow up on legal files with stations 
  • Audit all cash accounts at stations 
  • Adhere with company HSSE, compliance and sustainability corporate policies


  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced industry
  • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining a team.
  • Knowledgeable of the shipping and transportation field is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Credit Manager, Credit Analyst or similar role


  • Hands-on experience with accounting software
  • Solid understanding of lending procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets 
  • Negotiation skills
  • Have a thorough knowledge of credit-related laws
