Application Development and Support Executive

  • First point of contact for application/ EDI issues
  • Provides day-to-day application support to Internal Users /External Customers
  • Provides day-to-day support to customers on EDI
  • Closely work with Intra department users in providing solutions as per new Business needs or market needs
  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities, and drive solutions to improve productivity & efficiency of EDI and business applications in collaboration with technology and business partners. understanding of Application Support Process
  • Responsible for coordinating the planed downtimes and related communication to all stakeholders.
  • Closely works with infrastructure team
  • Coordinate with global team for new business solutions/Existing application Enhancement
  • Understand Global System/Application Features and transfer the process/ knowledge to the different team in India
  • Maintain project status and share with immediate manager
  • Responsible for reports

 

Skills Set Required:

  • Hands-on experience in .Net (VB,C#) – Mandatory
  • Web services - SOAP or REST API - – Mandatory
  • Hands-on experience in SQL, MySQL - Mandatory
  • XML parsing – optional
  • Web Applications development - Mandatory
  • Desktop application– optional
  • Ecommerce Plugins (Shopify and Magento) – optional
  • Knowledge about Ecommerce – optional
  • Crystal report – Optional
  • Strong problem analysis and solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Understanding software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Team work
