Purpose of the Job

The [D&T Analyst – Administration] role within Aramex's digital and technology department is pivotal in supporting operational efficiency and administrative functions. This position plays a crucial role in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, project coordination, and administrative support, ensuring streamlined operations and facilitating effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. The role involves analysing data to provide valuable insights, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, and managing administrative tasks to support the smooth execution of digital and technology initiatives. By bridging the gap between technical complexities and business needs, this role contributes significantly to Aramex's strategic goals and operational success.

 

The overall purpose of this role is to:

• Ensure smooth functioning and efficiency of digital and technology department operations.

• Conduct analysis to derive insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance departmental processes and workflows.

• Assist in coordinating projects within the digital and technology initiatives.

• Provide essential administrative support to facilitate effective communication and documentation management.

Job Description

  • Support the Tech management with the business management responsibilities by:

Preparing annual budget plan.

Negotiating vendor agreements

  • Accepting payments and continuously monitoring the Technology cash spending.
  • Manage vendor relationships by:

Onboarding new partners to the team.

Maintain the relationship with the existing team

Support the Tech team in getting the right vendors according to the requirements.

  • Work closely with stakeholders on Designing and reviewing the design of Aramex IT Governance Framework as per COBIT2019 Framework Guidelines.
  • Coordination and follow-up on the implementation tasks of I&T Governance in Aramex.
  • Monitor the IT SLAs to ensure the quality of service, compliance with enterprise standards, end-user satisfaction, and analyze identified issues to feed into improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that the operational workings of the department are pro-active, assured and aligned with wider Business Partners and Functions e.g. Procurement, Risk, Audit, Compliance, …etc.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is required. Master is a plus
  • 0-1 years of relevant role ( IT Audit, IT Governance, IT Risks, Fintech, IT PMO)
  • Any Related certifications (COBIT,CGEIT, CRISC, CISA, or similar) preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written English skills
  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work with remote teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, outstanding written and oral communication abilities. Must be able to lead change.
