Purpose of the Job

Job Description

  • Provide Level 3 support for production .NET Framework and .NET Core applications hosted on Windows servers.
  • Analyse logs, memory dumps, and event traces to identify root causes of application performance or failure issues.
  • Work closely with development teams to resolve complex code-level and infrastructure-related problems.
  • Support and troubleshoot IIS configurations, Windows Services, and background job execution.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Support and deploy applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams for deployments and environment configurations on AWS and Azure.
  • Automate routine tasks and diagnostics using PowerShell scripting and other relevant tools.
  • Maintain and enhance monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue identification.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident resolution and post-incident reviews.
  • Document known issues, troubleshooting steps, and workarounds in the internal knowledge base.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in L2/L3 support or DevOps role involving .NET applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core application support and debugging.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Good understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch) and/or Azure (App Services, AKS, Storage).
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for automation and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like ELK, Splunk, Grafana, or Cloud-native monitoring.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
