Purpose of the Job
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Operations Executive to support planning activities across First-Mile, Middle-Mile, Last-Mile, and Linehaul operations.
The role involves assisting in the development and execution of short- and long-term capacity plans that help ensure smooth operational flow, cost efficiency, and scalability across the network.
The ideal candidate will work with data sets to forecast demand, assess capacity requirements, and support in identifying potential gaps or risks. Basic skills in planning, data analysis, and dashboard visualization are important for contributing to data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support effective resource allocation and help align with business objectives.
Job Description
Capacity Planning:
- Analyze capacity drivers across stations to assess total operational capability and identify gaps or risks.
- Support the development of capacity plans for short- and long-term operational needs.
- Help conduct annual capacity analysis based on expected volumes and operational trends.
- Work closely with station and operations teams to support decisions on scaling capacity.
- Monitor inbound distribution and report any deviations to team leaders.
- Help ensure stations are aligned to expected production levels on weekdays and weekends.
Commercial Alignment:
- Support in reporting production flow versus customer projections and assist in recommending actions (e.g., scale, shift, or reduce production).
- Provide regular updates to the commercial team regarding any available capacity on the ground throughout the year.
- Assist in aligning with commercial stakeholders on any production shortfalls to help trigger appropriate operational responses.
Financial Tracking:
- Support in monitoring and controlling production distribution through Aramex couriers/labor, outsourced, and crowdsourced models to help ensure balanced allocation based on operational needs.
- Assist in driving cost optimization by tracking productivity and supporting efforts to improve resource utilization.
- Assist in coordinating with the Finance department and station management on the yearly budget required to maintain capacity parameters.
- Help maintain and track ABC cost per shipment, ensuring it remains within an acceptable and stable range.
Systems and Reporting:
- Support in developing and maintaining resource planning models customized for all countries.
- Develop dashboards and tools to track and visualize capacity, especially during peak periods.
- Conduct bi-monthly capacity reviews to ensure alignment with service and cost targets.
Job Requirements - Experience and Education
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with good data analysis capabilities; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel is a plus.
- Strategic and tactical thinker with the ability to design and implement capacity strategies aligned with business goals.
- High energy, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- Detail-oriented with strong monitoring, evaluation, and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working in diverse and multicultural environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in capacity planning, logistics, or operations
- Basic experience analyzing data sets, forecasting demand, or supporting planning activities.
- Familiarity with logistics networks, including First-Mile, Middle-Mile, Last-Mile, and Linehaul operations.
- Experience or exposure to dashboard development and performance monitoring tools is a plus.
- Exposure to cost control, budget planning, or resource allocation processes is preferred.
