Corporate Networking Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1.            Manage and maintain the corporate network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, telephony systems and wireless access points.

2.            Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

3.            Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network upgrades and expansions to support business growth.

4.            Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting network connectivity, hardware, and software issues.

5.            Configure and maintain VoIP systems and telephony services to ensure reliable communication across the organization.

6.            Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.

7.            Assist in the development and implementation of network security policies and procedures to safeguard corporate data and assets.

8.            Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve escalated technical issues and coordinate equipment installations and upgrades.

Qualifications:

•             Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

•             Working understanding of networks, telephony, and VoIP protocols.

•             Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostics with hardware and software.

•             Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing work conditions.

•             Thorough understanding of typical support structure and tools used in an IT environment.

•             Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.

•             Strong communication skills.

•             Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

•             Mindset to pick up new skills and technologies quickly.

•             Palo Alto Networks Knowledge

•             Aruba Knowledge

•             Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools

•             Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
