Corporate IT Operations Specialist

Purpose of the Job

The Analyst, D&T Operations position is instrumental in maintaining the smooth operation of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. By providing technical support, monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting end-users, this role ensures the uninterrupted functioning of critical platforms such as O365 and legacy systems. The Analyst's proactive approach to IT operations, coupled with strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities, contributes significantly to the efficiency and reliability of IT services within the organization.

Job Description

Customer:

  • Provide tier 2 support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues quickly, minimizing business disruption.
  • Assist end-users with IT inquiries via various channels.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on complex issues.

People:

  • Guide and train junior staff on monitoring best practices and troubleshooting.

Operations:

  • Maintain monitoring systems to ensure IT performance and security.
  • Respond to alerts and incidents, preventing downtime.
  • Support IT platforms, including installation and maintenance of software.
  • Manage O365 services, user accounts, and access permissions.
  • Implement and monitor backup solutions, ensuring data integrity.
  • Administer SCCM for software deployment and patch management.
  • Troubleshoot SCCM issues and coordinate resolutions.

Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in IT support roles.

Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Familiarity with O365 administration, legacy systems, and monitoring systems configuration.

Experience with ITIL framework and incident management processes.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong ability to work with remote teams.
