Operations Supervisor

Purpose of the Job

Monitoring Express and domestic operation to ensure effective and efficient work flow in line with the standards procedures and policies

Job Description

  • Oversee and motivate a team of operations personnel to achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices within the team.
  • Manage team schedules and staffing levels for optimal efficiency.
  • Manage company vehicles and ensure optimal use.
  • Track and optimize routes for delivery personnel.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Handle issues related to cash on delivery (COD) transactions.
  • Facilitate clear communication both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Performance Management and Analysis:
  • Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Analyze performance data and identify potential risks or losses.
  • Prepare and track performance reports.
  • Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Work collaboratively with customer service teams to resolve issues effectively.
  • Implement and enforce established operational standards and procedures.
  • Monitor team activities to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and technology

Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an operations environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a team
  • Experience in implementing and enforcing operational standards and procedures
