Procurement Officer - Dammam

Location: Dammam, KSA

Grade: E6

Purpose of the Job

To control procurement tasks in KSA

Job Responsibilities 

Procurement Officer main task

  • Ensure that a business has a constant supply of materials or equipment.
  • Works with vendors to schedule delivery. They are present to receive any orders and verify that the correct items and amounts have been delivered. They then properly store the material.
  • Process, validate & monitor requisitions from different departments.
  • Source, Review, negotiate & procure materials & services.
  • Prepare purchase orders & communicate the orders with suppliers.
  • Monitor PO delivery, payment terms, and conditions.
  • Manage & monitor procure to pay full cycle.
  • Maintain inventory by review inventory levels, monitor records & plan for future orders.

  • analyze and solve complex problems and have careful attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and procedures
  • Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as MS Word & Excel.
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Basic mathematical knowledge
  • Bilingual in English and Arabic

Job Requirements (Experience and education)

  • Education: BA Accounting, Finance, Business administration, Industrial Engineering,  logistics, supply chain, or any related field
  • 2 Years’ experience.
