Accounting Manager

Location: Dammam

Grade: S3

Purpose of the Job

Manage and supervise the accounting team on daily basis and handling the financial reporting process of Aramex Dhahran in compliance with Aramex, local and International standards and policies to facilitate business sustainability and growth

Job Responsibilities 

  • Manage the department and monitor the execution of the work and ensure optimizing the team’s potential.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for Aramex DHA (Trial balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet) to be submitted to the Finance reporting team and the Group Financial Controllers.
  • Control Aramex Dhahran station cash flow along with all reporting processes related to cash flow.
  • Setting KPI’s and conducting annual performance reviews for direct reports
  • Prepare and monitor the budget for Aramex Dhahran station.
  • Manage Aramex Dhahran station's cost and overheads and support Aramex Dhahran teams in all issues related to control cost and overheads.
  • Manage the day-to-day work to ensure proper reporting into the financial system.
  • Check all transactions to prepare trial balance and submit it to the tax department, in addition to the supplier's list including expense and asset amounts.
  • Ensure that all financial entries are approved as per budget
  • Authorize the payments to be disbursed to the suppliers according to the pre-set limits.
  • Perform monthly closing procedures.

Job Requirements (Experience and education)

  • BA degree in accounting or finance
  • 5 years of professional experience in accounting management preferably in logistics or international transportation company
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • High communications skills
