About the Role
Aramex Australia has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager based in Melbourne.
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and control for Aramex Australia entities. The role provides leadership and oversight of day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, strong internal controls, and effective business partnering to drive financial performance.
Key responsibilities include:

Oversee daily finance operations and delivery of the month-end close process within group reporting deadlines.

Prepare and review reconciliations, journals, management reports, and annual financial statements.

Develop annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax legislation, and Aramex group policies.

Liaise with internal and external auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Lead, coach, and mentor finance team members to enhance capability and foster a high-performance culture.

Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial guidance, analysis, and support for strategic projects.

Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

CA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.

Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in finance, including management responsibility.

Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax, and compliance requirements.

Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage finance staff.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
