About the Role:
Aramex Sydney is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance – Australia, you'll play a pivotal role in partnering with leaders across Sales, Operations and Account Management to drive business performance through insightful financial analysis and strategic decision support.
This is more than a traditional finance role, you'll be a trusted advisor who helps shape business decisions, improve profitability, and influence long-term strategic outcomes. You'll lead budgeting and forecasting processes, develop financial models, provide commercial insights, and identify opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across assigned business units.

Deliver insightful financial analysis, variance reporting and performance commentary.

Develop financial models, business cases and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.

Partner with business leaders to provide commercial guidance on pricing, investment, resourcing and operational decisions.

Monitor financial and operational KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities.

Drive improvements in financial reporting, planning processes and business insights.

Analyse customer, product and segment profitability to support commercial decision-making.

Support initiatives that improve profitability, operational efficiency and business performance.
To be Successful in this role:

CA or CPA qualification with a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

Minimum 7 years' finance experience, including at least 5 years in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.

Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using financial systems and BI tools such as Power BI highly regarded.

Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Previous experience within logistics, transport or another operational environment will be highly regarded.
