Account Manager

Purpose of the Job

Drive business growth by acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts. Exceed sales targets through effective prospecting, negotiation, and closing of deals. Build strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to position Aramex as the preferred logistics provider.

 

Job Description

  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets through effective prospecting, negotiation, and closing of deals.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements, demonstrating value for business and goal alignment and positioning Aramex's services as the best fit.
  • Translates customer strategy into meaningful opportunities of value for Aramex
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential business opportunities. Network with industry peer group and other internal affiliates to roll out best proven practices, as relevant.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to maximize revenue growth.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular reports on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries and addressing customer concerns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, account managers, operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.

 

Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, the logistics, Sea freight and Freight forwarding.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a focus on solution selling and consultative approaches
